Frequently asked questions
Is the shuttle from the airport really free?
Yes. There is no charge for the shuttle between our stores and Miyako Airport, Shimojishima Airport, Hirara Port and hotels on Miyakojima (Miyakojima store), or Naha Airport (Naha Airport store). We meet you in the arrivals lobby or at the shuttle stop.
What does "new cars only" mean?
We only operate vehicles that were first registered in 2019 or later. You will never be given an older model.
Is insurance included in the price?
Yes. Bodily injury and property damage liability are unlimited, vehicle damage is unlimited per accident, and personal injury up to ¥30 million per person. The Anshin Pack, which waives the deductibles and the non-operation charge (NOC), is also included in the displayed price (all plans booked on this site or the booking system; monthly rentals and some OTA plans differ).
What time do I have to return the car?
By 18:00. The last shuttle to Miyako Airport leaves at 17:45. Returns between 8:00–9:00 and 18:00–19:00 are possible for an out-of-hours fee of ¥3,300.
When do cancellation fees start?
From 7 days before the rental date: 50% of the base rate 7–4 days before, 80% 3–2 days before, and 100% from the day before. Cancellation is free up to 8 days before. If your flight is cancelled or changed because of a typhoon, you can change or cancel free of charge for the dates your airline treats as affected.
