What to Do After Arriving at Naha Airport (Stop 14-B)

From Naha Airport to driving off from Luana Rent a Car Naha Airport takes two LINE messages and one short walk. Tap [Checked Baggage Claimed] while you wait for your bags, walk to rental-car shuttle stop “14-B” outside the arrivals lobby and tap [14-B Has Arrived], then take the free shuttle to the store in Gushi, Naha, sign the contract and go.

Contract and departure at the store

The shuttle takes you to the Naha Airport store (3-11-2 Gushi, Naha), about 8 minutes from the airport. At the store we check the driving licences of everyone who will drive, fill in the rental agreement and check the car for existing damage together before you leave. If you would like the navigation display in English, just ask.

Returning and getting to the airport

Return by 18:00. After you return the car, the shuttle takes you to Naha Airport or Akamine Station (Yui Rail). Please plan to be back at the store about two hours before your flight. Returns between 8:00–9:00 and 18:00–19:00 are possible for an out-of-hours fee of ¥3,300.

While a storm warning is in effect, the free airport shuttle is suspended. If a typhoon changes or cancels your flight, you can change or cancel your booking free of charge for the dates your airline treats as affected.

Frequently asked questions

What if I do not use LINE?

Call the Naha Airport store on 098-914-4214. Tell us when you are waiting for your bags and when you reach stop 14-B, and we will send the shuttle.

Can I leave the stop before the shuttle arrives?

Stopping is prohibited at the shuttle stop, so the shuttle cannot wait long. After you send the arrival message, please stay near 14-B. If we cannot find you, we will pick you up on the next run.

Can you pick me up from the Yui Rail monorail?

Yes. We also pick you up free of charge at Akamine Station. Please let us know when you book.

What if I arrive at the international terminal?

Please walk to shuttle stop 14-B on the domestic arrivals side. The terminals are connected by a walkway.
