The kei class consists of the Daihatsu Taft and Move Canbus, only vehicles first registered in 2019 (Reiwa 1) or later. ¥6,500 (E Off) to ¥9,500 (A Top) a day, insurance and tax included, minimum 2 days. 4 seats, 1–2 suitcases as a guide. At Naha Airport the Taft is ¥6,000–9,000 a day.

- Move Canbus: sliding doors on both sides make getting in and out easy in tight car parks. The low boot floor makes loading luggage simple.

Frequently asked questions
Can a kei car get to Irabu Bridge and Cape Higashi-Hennazaki?
Yes. Miyakojima is mostly flat, and the main sights on the island are easily reached in a kei car.
Can a child seat be fitted?
Yes. Please request it when you book. With one child seat in the back, the rear seat effectively holds one adult.
How many suitcases fit?
Roughly two carry-on-size suitcases or one large one. With four passengers the boot may be too small, so we recommend a compact car or larger.
